We covered a lot of miles today. Most nice some not so. We started our day driving out to see Lake Ontario.

After greeting the Lake it was off to Niagara Falls via a route suggested by the GPS. After ten miles of stoplights every 100 yards we boycotted and headed back North towards the lake five or six miles and "recalculated". What a great decision that was; dozens of miles of rolling farmland on County roads heading due West.
We arrived in Niagara a little after Noon and stopped at Devil's Hole and Whirlpool State Parks walking the rest of the way to the falls.

My mechanical anxiety diminished somewhat, though I realize I am not prepared for mechanical failure as well as I'd like. Friday we will stock up on auto parts, the obvious stuff like spare belts, fuel hoses and perhaps a battery booster pack as we use the battery evenings for fans and lights.
We made it in to Pennsylvania and the Allegheny National Forest, we found a nice private campground for only $10 a night. They were impressed (amused?) by Tyler and gave us free wood for our campfire. The town has a name that makes me thirsty. Care to guess? hint: (41.79943, -79.09226)
We had a guest at our site tonight also;
