Today we drove due North to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Lake Superior is beautiful and as the locals emphasize, "The Lake is the Boss!" I think this is one park best seen from the Lake as it has many limestone caves carved into the cliffs. We'll have to come back.

Tyler earned another Junior Ranger Badge while at Apostle Islands.
Next we headed Southwest to the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and began work on another badge before wandering through the woods to camp at the County O Landing on the St. Croix river.
