Saturday we set out for Mesa Verde, CO. The day started with a descent out of the San Isabel National forest and a stop to reinflate our tires.

A long day that was making a hot shower and a motel look attractive. We entered Rio Grande National Park and crossed Wolf Creek Pass (10856'). The pass marks the Continental Divide once again and we stopped on the descent to take pictures of the valley that leads to Pagosa Springs, CO.
We saw Colorado's Chimney Rock on our way to and through Durango and the San Juan National Forest beyond.
