Sand gets into everything.....

Today we crossed in to Indiana and stopped at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.  Tyler became a Junior Park Ranger by completing a checklist of tasks and taking an oath before a more senior Park Ranger.  He was very proud of this accomplishment.  The sand was very hot!

We arrived at the park fairly early, but it quickly filled up with cars.  The temperature was rising quickly too so we moved on.

The highlight of the day was meeting our cousins Jacquelyn and her son Peter and Joanne and her boys Carson and Sebastian.  We had a great afternoon together.  Photos are on Facebook with more to come tomorrow (for the blog) as we are going in to Chicago for the day.

Oh yeah, I pushed the Jeep to almost 500 miles before I got nervous and topped off.  I still had better than three gallons in the tank!
